Remove the Governor Gear
Carefully remove the governor gear. You may need to remove the connecting rod cap to access it fully.
⚠️ Warning: Be careful not to damage the crankshaft or connecting rod during removal.
Remove Governor Linkage
Remove the external governor linkage that connects to the carburetor. This prevents the throttle from being limited.
Reassemble the Engine
Reinstall the side cover and all components. Make sure all bolts are properly torqued.
Install Governor Delete Kit (Optional)
For a cleaner installation, use a governor delete kit that includes a block-off plate and proper hardware.
